Some of the biggest names in country music are headed to Arizona in April for Country Thunder 2018. The lineup, announced Friday, shows Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith and Cole Swindell will be headlining the four-day event. Country Thunder 2018 starts April 5 in Florence, Arizona.

Man Shot Outside Jason Aldean Concert In Mississippi

Gunshots disrupted the party at a Jason Aldean concert. Fans inside the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo, Miss. were kept inside while police investigated a shooting that left one man hospitalized. The alleged gunman is 22-year-old Steven Michael Hulbert of Walls, Miss. He’s charged with aggravated assault.

Sean Penn Along With Tim McGraw And Others Join Forces For Haiti Relief

At the invitation of actor Sean Penn, country star Tim McGraw and other Nashville luminaries including Carrie Underwood, Mike Fisher, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kix Brooks, Jewel, Scott and Tracie Hamilton, former Tennessee Sen. Bill Frist and comedian Kevin Nealon were among those who gathered at the Brentwood home of celebrity jeweler Johnathon Arndt and his partner, Newman Arndt, on Tuesday to raise money for Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

Country Musician Katie Armiger Says She Was Blacklisted After Sexual Harassment Allegations

In a detailed article on the Fox News website, country singer Katie Armiger, who’s in a court battle with Cold River Records, says she was sexually harassed on several occasions by Country DJs and PDs. Sold-Out ‘Country Rising’ Benefit Concert Adds Second Nashville Event

Nashville’s star-studded Country Rising benefit concert, set for Nov. 12 at Bridgestone Arena, has already sold out.  Now a second event has been set for the same evening.  Both concerts will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, established to support and aid victims of the September 2017 hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria. The fund will also include aid for those affected by the recent shooting in Las Vegas.

The Band Perry Singer Undergoes Emergency Surgery

Reid Perry of The Band Perry had quite a health scare over the weekend. The Grammy Award-winning musician documented his emergency appendectomy on Instagram with a series of photos posted in an Instagram story.  According to two videos posted to Instagram, Perry appears to have been discharged from the hospital.
