Hear Jason Aldean And Miranda Lambert’s New Song ‘Drowns the Whiskey’

Jason Aldean has debuted his new single from his latest album Rearview Town. “Drowns the Whiskey” features guest vocals from Miranda Lambert. “Drowns the Whiskey” marks the second time that Aldean and Lambert have recorded a song together. In 2007, they cut the album track “Grown Woman” for Aldean’s Relentless. Lambert will launch the Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town in July. Aldean kicks off his High Noon Neon Tour this weekend in Kansas City, Missouri, with Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina.  You can check out the new song by Jason and Miranda below.

Kacey Musgraves Releases Her Video For “Butterflies”

Shortly after dropping her “Space Cowboy” video last week, Kacey Musgraves released the video for “Butterflies” on May 4. “Butterflies” was shot in Mexico City by “Space Cowboy” director Courtney Phillips. Both tunes are featured on Kacey’s new studio album, Golden Hour, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart after being released on March 30. Kacey became the first solo female artist to top the chart since Jessie James Decker in November 2017. Kacey co-wrote every track on Golden Hour, and she co-produced the new album with Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian. You can watch Kacey’s new “Butterflies” video in the link below.

Brothers Osborne, LANCO, Old Crow Medicine Show & More Added To Opry’s Bonnaroo Lineup

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival announced its lineup of more than 100 artists as part of this year’s showcase on June 7–10. Now the for the first time in the festival’s history, the Grand Ole Opry will stage a show from Bonnaroo on Sunday, June 10, featuring Opry members Bobby Bare, Del McCoury Band, Old Crow Medicine Show and Riders in the Sky, as well as Brothers Osborne, LANCO, Nikki Lane and Lucie Silvas. The 2018 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will take place June 7–10 at Great Stage Park, 60 miles south of Nashville in Manchester, Tenn.

Darius Rucker Introduces “Troublemaker Squad” – Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean And Charles Kelley

When performer Darius Rucker was getting ready to record one of his favorite Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ songs, he enlisted some vocal help from his Georgia boys: Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Charles Kelley. That squad is part of Rucker’s video for “Straight to Hell,” the Atlanta rock band’s 1989 cult classic. Rucker posted a picture on Twitter that makes the four country artists look like they’re up to some hell-raising. “When Charles called me and said, ’You should cut this song,’ I really felt that the universe was saying that it was time to cut that song,” Rucker said, “because I’ve been meaning to cut it for a minute and it was the perfect timing with this record.” Drivin’ n’ Cryin’s lead singer, Kevn Kinney, wrote “Straight to Hell.”

Lindsay Ell has just announced plans to release The Continuum Project, a reimagining of John Mayer’s Continuum. The Continuum Project will arrive digitally on May 25th. Since cutting these recordings, Ell topped the U.S. Indie chart with The Project and scored her first Number One single in her home country with “Criminal,” which continues to climb the U.S. country charts. This summer, Ell will be joining Sugarland on their “Still the Same Tour.”

Lady Antebellum Earns Tony Awards Nomination For “SpongeBob SquarePants Musical”

Lady Antebellum has earned their very first Tony Award nomination. The country trio’s latest tune, “Chop to the Top,” is included on the album, Spongebob Squarepants: Original Cast Recording. Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley, and Hillary Scott were presented with an opportunity a few years ago to write the song for Spongebob Squarepants the musical. The Broadway show opened back in December and is now nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical.

Jason Aldean Returns To No. 1 On Billboard Artist 100 Chart

Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy” ascended to #1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay in the week ending April 29, according to Nielsen Music. Aldean earns his 18th Country Airplay No. 1, which ranks him in 12th place for the most leaders since the chart began in 1990. The track is the first single from Aldean’s new LP Rearview Town, which leads Top Country Albums for a second week. This marks Aldean’s third-fastest trip to the top.

Kacey Musgraves Debuts ‘Space Cowboy’ Music Video

Kacey Musgraves has just released the music video for her latest single “Space Cowboy.”  The track is taken from the 29-year-old country singer’s third studio album, Golden Hour, which was released back in March. Directed by Courtney Phillips, the clip follows said “Space Cowboy” on horseback, riding the dirt roads of Mexico City.  On the horizon for Kacey, she will be joining Harry Styles‘ 2018 tour on May 6 in Dallas, and she will make her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest on May 12.

Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean And Other Performers Offering $20 Concert Tickets This Week

Many country singers are taking part in National Concert Week, a $20 a ticket promotion to see more than a dozen headliners this summer. The $20 ticket price is the all-in price, which means taxes and the normal fees are included in that price. National Concert Week is through Live Nation, and the full list of acts involved number in the dozens. Only certain seats are included, and you’ll need to check your local venue for more information. Several of country music’s hottest artists are part of the program: catch Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and Shania Twain for just $20; all In all, more than five million tickets to 2,000 concerts will be offered at $20.  You can find details at the National Concert Week website.
