French Montana’s latest album MONTANA hasn’t performed well on the charts, and the rapper faced controversy when he was accused of faking streams of his ‘Writing on The Wall’ single with Cardi B & Post Malone.

The NAACP has announced that Rihanna will receive the prestigious President’s Award during the 51st NAACP Image Awards. Rihanna will be presented with the honor during a LIVE TV special on BET on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from Pasadena, California.
The President’s Award is presented in recognition of a special achievement and distinguished public service, with previous recipients including last year’s recipient Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter, Jesse Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Soledad O’Brien, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Muhammad Ali among others.
Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of the NAACP said: “Rihanna has not only enjoyed a groundbreaking career as an artist and musician, but has also distinguished herself as a stellar public servant. From her business achievements through Fenty, to her tremendous record as an activist and philanthropist, Rihanna epitomizes the type of character, grace, and devotion to justice that we seek to highlight in our President’s Award.”
Other winners for the 51st NAACP Image Awards will also be revealed during the live ceremony. Voting is still open to the public — fans can submit their votes until February 7th on their official website.

Nicki Minaj said she was ‘retiring” a few months ago, but now it seems the rapper is back in the studio.
Nicki uploaded a clip from her studio where she’s rapping along to a new song. “I play tag & you #IT for life. You a you do it for likes. #Yikes,” she captioned some of the wordplay from the track.
There is no word when and if this song will released; however in the meantime. Nicki recently joined Meghan Trainor on her new song and video ‘Nice To Meet Ya‘ off the singer’s latest album Treat Myself.

Justin Bieber’s new album Changes arrives in stores Feb. 14th.
Last week, he shared a pre-order single ‘Get Me‘ featuring Kehlani and unveiled the official artwork for the album, and now Bieber is dropping the remix to his first single ‘Yummy’ featuring Summer Walker.

Jadakiss announced his upcoming fifth studio album, IGNATIUS, is slated for release on Feb. 28, via Def Jam Records. The album, which is a follow-up to his Top 5 Dead of Alive LP, pays tribute to Jadakiss’ manager and longtime friend, Ignatius “Icepick Jay” Jackson, who died from cancer in 2017.
Along with the album announcement, Jadakiss dropped a new single, “Kisses To the Sky” featuring Rick Ross and Emanny. The song title is a nod to Jadakiss’ first three solo albums, Kiss the Game Goodbye, Kiss of Death, and The Last Kiss. “Kisses to the Sky” marks the latest single off the IGNATIUS album after“ME,” which was released last October.

Drake and Future took fans by surprise and dropped their brand new song called ‘Desires.’ The song previously surfaced in snippet form with the name ‘I Know’ earlier this month, but now Drake has decided to share it on his Soundcloud
The collaboration comes just weeks after Drake and Future’s ‘Life is Good‘ was released.

The first Los Angeles Lakers game since Kobe Bryant’s tragic death paid tribute to the NBA legend, his daughter Gianna and the other victims in the helicopter crash that took 9 lives.
During Friday’s game at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, the Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers honored the late athlete with an emotional tribute. Usher started off the tribute by singing a special rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’. Ben Hong followed with a touching rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ while Boyz-II-Men ended the pregame ceremony with ‘The Star Spangled Banner’.
During halftime, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth delivered a heartbreaking performance of the single ‘See You Again’ to honor Kobe. Watch the video of Wiz and Charlie performing “See You Again” at the link here.

Lil Baby appeared on the Queen & Slim film soundtrack with the song ‘Catch The Sun,’ and now the rapper has released a video of the track, where he and his co-star recreate the on-the-run love story of the movie.
