Drake and Rihanna are two of the latest superstars who’ve pledged major donations to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Watt’s initiative has already surpassed it’s $10,000,000 goal.
In the video, Drizzy begins, “To the resilient people of Houston and the entire state of Texas, I would like to send you all of our love and all of our prayers. To the brave men and women who have assisted in aid, relief and rescue, your actions are truly heroic.”
He continues, “My good friend J.J. Watt has started a fundraising effort through YouCaring and I donated $200,000 towards it. I’ll be leaving a link in my bio.”
“The journey to rebuilding is going to be a long one, so anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Thank you.”
As for RiRi, the nonprofit organization Feeding America confirms via Twitter that the singer also donated funds through her Clara Lionel Foundation, though the pledge amount is currently unknown.
“A huge thank you to @rihanna and the @ClaraLionelFdn for their generous donation for Tropical Storm Harvey relief efforts!” reads the tweet.
Other stars, including Beyoncé, DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Chris Brown, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kim Kardashian West, Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, and Miley Cyrus, have either pledged money or set up charity initiatives to collect donations for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
